Adult Drama
South Manchester Helen O'Grady

We are pleased to inform you that, after many requests we are looking to open ADULT DRAMA CLASSES and asking adults who may wish to attend classes to get in touch with us to express their interest.

Adults at Altrincham Parents’ Day

In line with our classes for children and young people, our aim is to give students, of any age, ongoing confidence and increased skill in verbal communication. We have ready experienced teachers trained to deliver a programme which will inspire such skills as presentation techniques and public speaking as well as address self esteem issues. Unlike Amateur Dramatic groups, our sessions will not culminate in a performance and, unlike our own primary and youth theatre classes, there will be no production in the final term.

We appreciate there will be a variety of reasons why adults may want to join our classes – maybe a new job means they have to make presentations to colleagues or customers; maybe they are already in this situation and would like to polish up existing skills and methods. Maybe parents have seen the value of the classes for their children and wish to benefit themselves. Maybe they have also seen the fun their offspring have and would relish the opportunity to join in!

Classes will be tailored to suit all abilities and needs and participating adults will work at their own level and pace.  And there is certainly a lot of fun to be had. If you know someone who would enjoy and benefit from our classes, please forward them a link to this web page.
