South Manchester Helen O'Grady
Our Timperley Drama Classes are based within Altrincham in the Metropolitan Borough of Trafford. Timperley derives from Timber Leah which literally means clearing in the forest. Timperley lies between Altrincham and Sale with the A56, Bridgewater Canal and Metrolink all passing through it. Timperley was the home for comic character Frank Sidebotham which was the creation of Chris Sievey who died in 2010. A statue dedicated to the character now occupies pride of place in the town centre. The Old Hall Golf Club has survived in its current form since 1893 except for during the Second World War when it lost its second and third holes to the mass production of potatoes. The current MP is Graham Brady.
The Timperley drama classes take place on a Tuesday at the Altrincham United Reformed Church, Altrincham, WA14. The teacher at the Timperley studio is Melissa who has classes consisting of lower primary between 4 and 5pm and upper primary between 5 and 6pm. The Timperley drama classes are an effective way to give your child confidence and self-esteem. We use a curriculum based method of learning which is tried and tested. To ensure it is fresh, relevant and effective, it is monitored and also under constant review. The classes have a non-competitive aspect to the teaching with allows each child to develop their skills at their own rate. There is absolutely no pressure on the child as they achieve their goals and aims by their own initiative using techniques such as communication, improvisation, mime and script work in the drama classes.
The Timperley Drama classes will equip your child with life-long skills such as effective communication and are an excellent way to give your child a head start in life. We believe children will achieve higher and more sustained academic attainment when in possession of these confidence and communication skills.
